Venue: Gallery I, Art Museum, The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Themed “Blooming Life, Nurturing the Future”, this year’s Master of Arts (M.A.) in Fine Arts Graduation Exhibition (Chinese Art Practice), this exhibition will showcase the unique perspectives and creations of the students, running until 31 July 2024.
The exhibition aims to represent the determination of plants striving to grow and bring life to paper with brushstrokes. "Flowers" symbolise femininity, referring to the group of female students of the Chinese Art Practice, who have infused their works with artistic knowledge, philosophical insights and emotional warmth. Echoing the blossoming cycle of flowers, the exhibition serves as a platform for students to share their artistic journeys with the audience.
To display and recognise the students’ artistic accomplishments and learning outcomes, “The Art of CUHK” exhibition is held annually in the summer. In addition to the exhibition “Blooming Life, Nurturing the Future”, the M.A. in Fine Arts Graduation Exhibition (Contemporary Art Practice) Exhibitions and the M.A. in Fine Arts Year 1 Exhibitions will also be held at the New Asia College during the same period.
