You are invited to demonstrate your connection with Chinese art with any product of your creativity that is inspired by the collections or exhibits of the Art Museum!

Eligibility: All students and staff of tertiary education institution in Hong Kong

Medium: Unrestricted (all kinds of literary/artistic/technological creation, event proposal, product design, manga, rewriting pop song lyrics... just to name a few)

Form: For textual works, it cannot exceed 1,000 words. An image to go with the text should also be submitted for the uploading and voting of the work for the Facebook Popularity Award. For non-textual creations, either a video with a screenshot for facebook voting; or a photo/image has to be submitted with a textual account of the work. Again, the upper limit is 1,000 words.

Awards:
1st: HK$3,000 and a Certificate (one winner)
2nd: HK$2,000 and a Certificate (one winner)
3rd: HK$1,000 and a Certificate (one winner)
Facebook Popularity Award: HK$500 and a Certificate (five winners)

(There is no limit for the number of works submitted by an individual. However, one participant can only be awarded one prize. Should he/she has more than one works that are qualified for a prize, he/she would only be awarded the one with the highest monetary value or be awarded for the work that gains the highest vote on our Facebook page.)

Remarks: Copyrights of any submitted work and its accompanying texts (if any) shall belong to the original author of the work, whose rights are protected by the Copyright Ordinance of Hong Kong. However, the use of images or other information of the collections or exhibits of the Art Museum shall be strictly restricted to the non-profit making and educational purpose of participating in this compeition. With the submission of the application form, the entrant agrees and acknowledges that the organizer has the perpetual right to keep the digital file of the work submitted for education and outreach, archival, and research purposes.
