Notes on entering the campus:
- University staff and students are required to validate their CU Link Cards / CUHK Library Cards at the card reading devices. Alumni must show their CUHK Alumni Credit Cards to prove their identity.
- Persons who fail to provide the above information are required to scan the QR code issued by the Art Museum, CUHK (to be issued via email two days before the Guqin Gathering) / register their identity information with the security guard.
- According to the CUHK’s latest infection control measures:
All visitors are required to present their “Vaccine Pass” for verification to show evidence of vaccination or exemption for medical reasons for accessing the University campus. Please check the new dosage schedule of the “Vaccine Pass” scheme (https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/pdf/vp_t1_ENG.pdf).
Precautionary Measures at the Art Museum:
- All participants are required to receive temperature screening, and use the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile app to scan the venue QR code at the temperature screening station prior to entry. All persons, except those exempted, must comply with the requirements of the Vaccine Pass.

*To expedite the process of admission, please download and install the “LeaveHomeSafe”, “iAM Smart” or “eHealth” mobile app in advance and/or store the QR code of a COVID-19 vaccination record or COVID-19 vaccination medical exemption certificate in the app, or carry a paper copy of their COVID-19 vaccination record and/or COVID-19 vaccination medical exemption certificate printed with an encrypted QR code for scanning by museum staff.
- Visitors could sanitize hands with rubbing alcohol provided when entering the museum.
- Visitors with body temperature 37.5°C or above / coughing symptoms are forbidden from entry.
- Visitors are required to wear a face mask during the entire museum visit.
- Maintain social distancing.
- No refreshments.
