Workshop on Lacquerware Craftsmanship

Ms Hua Chunrong, Associate Researcher of the Conservation Department at The Palace Museum will let you learn about the process of creating a "Decorative Lacquer" based on the Kangxi Coromandel Screen from the Art Museum’s collection. Participants will also be able to experience the important process of selecting, topstitching, carving, sanding, and colouring of lacquerware.
