Welcome to the Art Museum of The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Located squarely on the main quads, this research-driven museum contributes to the university’s flagship program of Chinese studies through multi-faceted exhibitions that explore China’s cultural heritage. With over 16,000 objects that represent that the full gamut of Chinese art, the collection is especially known for its bronze seals, classical paintings and calligraphy, rubbings designated as ‘National Treasures’, Yixing earthenware, and Lingnan school paintings. The museum fosters growing ties with academic faculties and international partners that provide latest discoveries of and diverse entry points to Chinese art for students, scholars, and collectors.
